Charles Rouxel (1973)

Charles Rouxel is seen here on his way to a third place finish in stage 10 (Nice - Aubagne) of the 1973 Tour de France, riding just behind Jose Catieau (BIC) who would come in fourth for this particular stage. Rouxel had already managed a fifth place showing during stage 2b (Saint Nicholas - Roubaix) and a sixth place finish during stage 9 (Embrun - Nice). He would also cross the finish line in sixth place yet again during the final stage 20b (Versailles - Paris) of the race, thereby assuring himself thirty-sixth place overall in the 1973 edition of the Tour.
